Correct Settings for AT&T Email

Here are the correct email settings for you to use when setting up your AT&T email account on an email client like Microsoft Outlook.

Incoming (POP)

pop.att.yahoo.com

Outgoing (SMTP)

smtp.att.yahoo.com

Incoming mail server

POP3

Incoming/Outgoing user name

Use your full AT&T email address including the proper domain, (e.g., bob@att.net, bob@sbcglobal.net, etc.)

Incoming mail port

995, secure connection (SSL) checked

Outgoing mail port

465, secure connection (SSL) checked

Outgoing server settings

Be sure to indicate that the outgoing server requires authentication using the same settings as the incoming mail server.

The mail settings above work with all of the following AT&T email account domains:

  • @att.net
  • @ameritech.net
  • @bellsouth.net
  • @flash.net
  • @nvbell.net
  • @pacbell.net
